Cayden's Nursery

We aren't done, but this last weekend we spent some time painting, and hanging shelves, pictures, wall decals, and airplanes.

The theme for his nursery is airplane, but we are also decorating with stars too.

Here are some before pictures:

A Memorable Weekend!

This last weekend we had the opportunity to lead worship for the youth of Northwest Family Church in Auburn. What an amazing group of students! It was such an honor to be a part of what God was doing in their lives. Ben led worship last winter camp. It was really neat to be able to go with him this year, be worshiping together. It has been quite awhile, and I miss it a lot. The part I miss the most, is looking out at true worshipers seeking the face of God and knowing that we are all pursuing Him together. I know that God has placed a calling on Ben and I for worship. It is hard to be patient, but I know that God's anointing and call on our lives cannot be revoked. It will all be in His timing, His perfect timing.

"Thank you, Lord for the opportunity you gave us. I pray for these students that you continue to move in their lives, and the lives of their family. That you will fill them to overflowing. I thank you in advanced for the amazing things that are going to happen in their lives, in the church, and in the community!"

Lord willing.....

We are currently renting a home on the South Hill. We have lived here for a year and 1/2. We have enjoyed living here, the area is great. Coffee shops and restaurants just down the street. The only compliant is the home is old, and made of swiss cheese! Our heating bill can reach over $400 a month, and we don't turn the heat on above 66 and have space heaters! We have had some moisture issues, and with a new baby on the way I was concerned about mold. We started looking for other places to rent, or maybe even purchase. In the meantime we had a mold inspector come out, he had some concerns but overall said things looked okay. Well, working for one of the best home builders in the area....I thought I would plant a seed and see what we might be able to get. They have come back with an incredible offer, and we are considering it a great deal. The only issue now is that our lease goes until the August. So we could move, but would be responsible for the rent until someone else moves in. So, now we just pray and trust God. We pray for His wisdom that he would show us the best thing. We are really excited about this opportunity. I hope it all works out soon, so we can move and get the home all ready before Cayden comes! Here are some pictures of the home we are looking at. It has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. Big backyard, nice kitchen, and huge laundry room!!! We will keep you posted!

Crazy Pregnant Lady

I feel a little more paranoid with this pregnancy given the history we went through last year. Being that this is my 3rd child it seems like I should be "I have been through it before, so I am a pro", but that is so not the case. I really forget some things, I am constantly looking up things in my book. On Sunday night I started feeling more nauseous then usual, and my medication was not helping like it usually does. Then yesterday, I still felt sick and started having contractions through out the day. Nothing painful, just uncomfortable. Then last night I had 3 in one hour. Being that I am only 24 weeks pregnant I thought I better give the nurse a call. She said I should come in.

So, I went to the doctor........they took my blood pressure, my weight, and listened to the babies heart rate. Then the doctor came in, asked me what was going on then he basically told me that I wasn't having contractions, and it was to early to worry about anything. To early to worry? I am more worried because it is so early! I then told him that I went into labor 6 weeks early with my daughter, he interrupts me to say "you had contractions, you didn't go into labor. We can't stop labor." Well, whatever.

Okay, I am done venting......I am glad that he said there was nothing to worry about, baby measures well and heartbeat was strong. I will continue to put my faith in God, and trust that he has both of us in his hands. I am ready for these next 16 weeks to be done, so I can hold my healthy baby.

Decorating

Well, we found a different bedding set (much cheaper than the first one). We are still doing airplane theme in the nursery, but this bedding gives us a little more options. Plus it's not just blue and brown like everyone is doing right now. Found it at Land of Nod. So excited to get the nursery together!
