From thebump.com: At week 37, your pregnancy is considered full term, meaning baby is likely to thrive after birth. Baby spends these last weeks in preparation for the outside world… meaning careful refinement of the blink, suck, inhale and exhale. Meconium, which you’ll probably find in the first diaper, is accumulating in the intestines. If (okay, as) you worry about giving birth, consider what it’s like for the little one. During the journey out of your womb, baby will produce more stress hormones than any other time in life.
I am 37 weeks today, and at my doctor appointment yesterday found out I am 2 cm already. At least the contractions I have been having for over a week are doing something! The time is getting closer, and I am so excited. What is he going to look like? Will labor and delivery go smoothly? Will I remember what to do?
My sister is in town for the weekend, and I am praying that Cayden comes while she is here. She has been traveling around the country, and I don't want her to meet Cayden for the first time when he is 4 months old! So, Mercie and I may go to the mall today and do a little walking........

my baby girl
You were a blessing before I even met you. A special gift that we did not deserve. 5 years ago you came into my life, my little baby girl. Now, you are turning 5 and getting bigger every day. You are so smart, and I love seeing your "little attitude" coming out. I love that even now at this young age God places songs on your heart, and you just sing sing sing. Never stop singing little girl! Today we celebrate you. I know you will not always be my little girl, but I pray that God protects your innocence and you will love Him all the days of your life! Happy Birthday, girly!

one month to go!
I am 35 weeks today, and have 35 days (maybe less) until my due date. I am getting so excited! This week has left me very thankful. Last year this time is when we lost a baby to miscarriage. We then lost another just a few months later. To me it seems like we have been waiting for Cayden a lot longer than just the "9 months". In looking back and with all the changes that have taken place with my job, and in our lives I now know that God's timing is perfect. I am anxious to meet my son, and at the same time trying to "enjoy" this last month which is beginning to be a challenge! Painful contractions throughout the day, a large and growing belly, and waking up 3 times a night just to go to the bathroom. Which will soon turn into night time feedings, diaper changes, and more!
~Thank you Lord for your perfect timing, and for your many blessings you continually pour out on my family!~

The beginning of 33 weeks.....7 weeks to go!
From www.thebump.com:
Baby’s senses are continuing to improve -- when light peeks in through your (extremely) stretched belly, those tiny eyelids and irises blink and dilate. And, baby can now recognize and react to simple songs… time to start practicing your lullabies! Growth (at least inside your womb) is starting to slow, and you may notice baby descend into your pelvis at the end of this month.
