From thebump.com: At week 37, your pregnancy is considered full term, meaning baby is likely to thrive after birth. Baby spends these last weeks in preparation for the outside world… meaning careful refinement of the blink, suck, inhale and exhale. Meconium, which you’ll probably find in the first diaper, is accumulating in the intestines. If (okay, as) you worry about giving birth, consider what it’s like for the little one. During the journey out of your womb, baby will produce more stress hormones than any other time in life.
I am 37 weeks today, and at my doctor appointment yesterday found out I am 2 cm already. At least the contractions I have been having for over a week are doing something! The time is getting closer, and I am so excited. What is he going to look like? Will labor and delivery go smoothly? Will I remember what to do?
My sister is in town for the weekend, and I am praying that Cayden comes while she is here. She has been traveling around the country, and I don't want her to meet Cayden for the first time when he is 4 months old! So, Mercie and I may go to the mall today and do a little walking........
