SORRY

I haven't posted anything in a while. Things have been busy, but the biggest reason is I have been sick for the last week. MORNING SICKNESS...or should I say ALL DAY! I am about 6 1/2 weeks, and although feel horrible I am thankful. Ben and I have gone through 2 miscarriages this year, and I don't know if I could go through another. I am definitely feeling pregnant. I have a doctors appointment next week, hopefully we will hear a little heartbeat. So for now, it's saltines and preggie pops (which only help for about 3 min). Anyone have anything that actually works?

Fall is in the air......

Okay, I know I am early. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love summer. The days are longer, the sun is warm.....I am not ready for the sun to go away just yet. BUT.....The mornings lately have been a little cooler, and being that fall is my favorite I can't help but get the fever!

So, I came across some items that are merely inspiration for when the time is right. ;)

This is such a simple way to dress up candles. Paper is simply wrapped around and accented with either leaves, berries or flowers, and twine (this would be a fun gift too).

SUCCESS!

Well, I had a yard sale.....whew! Besides the fact that they are draining, I attempted one while Ben was out of town. I still have quite a bit of larger items left, and some clothes. All in all it was a success. We had our living room set for sale, as we have had our eye on one. A really neat couple stopped by, and bought the entire set...even my area rug!

So, off to the furniture store I went, (it looks like we are moving in our house now). Victory! I only had to pay $50 for the new set! They had a special, no tax, free delivery, and 5 year warranty. The bad news it won't be in until Friday! I guess we will be camping out for the next week in our living room....oh well can't complain. I will post pictures of the final product when I am finished.

YARD SALE!

Well, I am spring cleaning (just a few months late)......and since the warm weather is leaving us soon I thought I had better get my junk outside and make some money. So, if you live in the area stop on by. It will be this Saturday from 9-4. I have furniture, baby and kids items, household decor, desk, TV, computers, 2 beds, mattress, and MORE!!!
